This is a brand new LeCompte ST-4 electric bass, serial #7. Handmade in the USA.

It's a steal at this price. I'm letting it go so cheap because the neck was actually made for another bass, but I decided to use it on this one. The neck screw holes didn't line up perfectly with this body so I drilled and doweled them (glued, of course) and used new longer neck screws. I've got all the confidence in the world that this neck will not give it's new owner any problems. It should never have to be removed anyway since the truss rod adjustment is at the headstock. The bass carries my full warranty. The neck profile is just a tad thicker and boxier than a typical J-bass neck. I can easily modify the neck finish to a satin feel at no extra charge. Both the ash body and maple top are exceptional. A great bass at a great price! Sorry, no case or gig bag is included.
