This bass was one of two LeCompte basses that was debuted at the Winter NAMM 2007 show in Anaheim, CA. It was built specifically to be part of the Nordstrand Pickups display. The multi-scale fret layout was a hit at the show. These type of instruments are growing in popularity everyday, but it was surprising how many folks had not seen anything like it before. This bass will perform well under any conditions. It's got a huge sound thanks to the custom made Nordstrand Fatstacks. The long B-string sounds like thunder. The bass is lightweight and ready to go.
