This is a very lightly used LeCompte TRX-6 electric bass, serial #24. Handmade in the USA.

Heads turn and jaws drop wherever it goes. It's been played out a few times which is why it's listed as lightly used. There's a few tiny scratches on the control cavity cover. That's about it, really. The bass is in excellent, and I mean excellent, shape. I'd probably be willing to make a new cover if asked nicely. The bass plays and sounds fantastic. The Audere preamp is something to behold. You can't get a bad tone out of this instrument. The Fanned-FretŪ system makes this not just a bass, it's an adventure!
