This is a brand new LeCompte STSS-4 electric bass, serial #11. Handmade in the USA.

The bass has been dubbed "Bloody Knuckles". Truly a unique bass, it was inspired by the scrap piece of diamond plate that I found in my shop, which went on to become the pickguard and control cavity cover. As my idea for this bass developed it seemed only natural to use a metal flake paint job that reflected my interest in classic Hot Rodding. The cocobolo I used for the fingerboard was a great find. It's the icing on the cake. It's simply stunning. The bass plays and sounds great. You're guaranteed to be the only one on your block with a bass like this. Sorry, no case or gig bag is included.
