Custom quotes are available. Send us your detailed wish list using the custom quote form or via email and we will try our best to put together a quote for the bass you are looking for with the parts you want. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Should you decide that you would like us to build your new bass we require a 50% deposit by check or money order to get started. Once the construction of the bass begins any changes requested by the customer that deviate from the specifications on the original price quote may incur additional costs. You would be notified of any additional costs prior to us implimenting your requested changes. During the construction, should the customer decide they don't want a LeCompte Electric Bass, a fee of 25% of the original quote will be charged resulting in a refund of half the customer's original deposit. We'll notify you upon completion of your new bass, at which time you will have seven days to pay the remaining balance plus shipping & handling costs by check or money order. Once the funds have cleared, your handmade, custom built LeCompte Electric bass will be shipped to you, complete with a deluxe gig bag.
Return Policy
We will accept returns for "In Stock" instruments only. Upon receiving an "In Stock" bass, the customer will have 48 hours to decide if the bass is right for you. If you are not satisfied you must then return it immediately in its original condition. Return shipping is at the customer's expense. For "In Stock" instruments we will refund the entire price of the bass, minus shipping & handling costs when the bass is back in our hands.
We do not have a return policy for custom spec'd instruments. You order it, you own it. No returns or refunds. If you commissioned a custom built automobile or a custom built motorcycle you and tried to return it for a refund you probably wouldn't be too successful. Or if had a custom home built for yourself and decided you didn't want to move in you would probably have some problems on your hands. Well, it's the same with custom basses built by us. Custom means custom. A custom built dream bass doesn't mean there's a bunch of folks standing in line to snatch it up if you decide you don't want to pay for it. We require a non-refundable, 50% initial payment towards the purchase of any new custom instrument. The balance and shipping charges are due when the instrument is complete.
We guarantee the materials and workmanship of all LeCompte Electric Basses for a period of one year from the day you take delivery. We do not guarantee against wear and tear caused by the owner/player. We'll do everything in our power to make sure you are satisfied with your new LeCompte bass.
